Adult ADHD Self-Report Scale
An 18-item self-report screening scale for ADHD in adults developed by the World Health Organization (Kessler et al., 2005). Part A (6 items) is the primary screener. Part B (12 items) provides additional symptom detail. Assesses inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity.
Important: This is a screening tool, not a diagnostic instrument. A score of 14+ on Part A (Likert scoring) suggests symptoms consistent with adult ADHD. However, inattention and hyperactivity symptoms can also be associated with anxiety, depression, or sleep disorders. Please consult a qualified professional for diagnosis.
